HELP WANTED: Experienced Small Engine\Pressure Pump Mechanic
Qualifications
At least one year of verifiable experience repairing and maintaining small engines, large lawn equipment, generators, commercial pressure washing units, mowers, tillers, and other related equipment with a track record of success.
The skills to clearly explain and communicate to the customer’s satisfaction the diagnosis and repair of the machine in a professional manner to provide a positive experience.
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, while providing a valued quality solution to the customer.
The ability to recognize and observe all safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
The desire to treat others with respect and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
The ability to understand and follow instructions and promptly respond to directions.
Certifications in major manufacturing brands like Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Generac, MTD, Stihl, TORO, Ego, Echo, etc. are preferred but not required.
Knowledge of small engine theory (2 and 4-stroke), lubrication, cooling, ignition, and fuel systems
Responsibilities
The Mechanic promotes customer relations and satisfaction by completing jobs on schedule or connecting with customers promptly to give them updates on issues such as unattainable replacement parts and warranty issues.
From time to time the Technician/Mechanic is also responsible for sourcing parts for stock and repairs and ordering parts.

Daytona Pressure is a locally owned and operated business with a focus on being more than your typical small engine repair shop. Our business was established in 2014 when we acquired our first store. We currently have two stores located in South Daytona and Bunnell. Our focus is on support, service, and sales. We sell and provide pressure washing equipment as well as service all types of small engine machines.
We are searching for a Small Engine Technician/Mechanic with experience in servicing and repairing 2 & 4-stroke engines as well as generators, pressure washers, lawnmowers, and weed eaters. Experience with diagnostic and repair of pressure pumps is preferred. The Mechanic promotes customer relations and satisfaction by completing jobs on schedule or connecting with customers, in a timely manner, to give them updates on issues such as unattainable replacement parts and warranty issues.
Requirements

Compensation is based on experience with a handsome starting rate.
We offer PTO based on earned time off and will be offering medical benefits in the coming year.
Schedule M-F 8a to 4p, no weekends, OT is available based on shop needs, and on a voluntary basis.
